We are in New York. We have been here since Saturday, and it's been a so much fun, tiring - but fun. Right now we are in Canandaigua (which is upstate NY in the Finger Lakes Region) we got here yesterday afternoon. It's now 5:30 in the morning, and we are in the hotel room. Vinny and Avah are fast asleep - and I AM NOT! Avah has been in out of the pack -n- play and Vinny is snoring extra, extra loud this morning. So I am not sleeping. I know it's so bad, I just am the lightest sleeper, and my IPOD shuffle has died, I don't have the charger, my other IPOD is in the car, and I don't have ear plugs - so I am exhausted, and can't sleep. So what a better time to put a new post.
So we have been pretty busy these last few weeks. Things are so great! We are getting ready for vacation. We leave in five days. We CAN NOT WAIT! I think the most thing we are looking forward too is seeing the looks on everyones face when they get to see Avah in action. She is just the best. Vin has been traveling this past week, and he is back home! Thank goodness. I hate it when he isn't here, but generally I do pretty good when he isn't around. Not this time, I was a wreck. I was extremely lonely. Thank goodness JJ (my sweetest cousin ever) was around. She came over a couple of nights and kept me company. It was so sweet of her. Last weekend we got Avah's hair cut, FINALLY! It was very much in need of a trim. I love how it turned out, but I am not able to put in in pig tails anymore, (well they aren't as long, so they don't look as cute). But it's so much better this way. Here are a few pictures of Avah playing at the park while watching her cousin Brayden play baseball, and getting a hair cut.
...I AM BLOGGING... I know, it's been way to long, tomorrow it will have been exactly one whole month since my last post. You know what? I don't even have a good excuse, so I am not going to even put one out there. So many things have been going on in the past month... I am sure I wont even come close to remembering them all. We had Avah's birthday, we went to St. George for memorial day weekend. We were hoping for great weather, but it didn't happen, it was cold and windy and rainy... but it was so nice to spend time with Max, Chelsea and baby Jack, especially because it was just us! Jack is just getting so big, I hear he is standing himself up, and moving around everywhere. Check out Chelsea and Max's blog to read all about them... My sister Jayme and her oldest boy went to Hawaii at the end of May and stayed a little short of a week. They had so much fun and brought us all back some great things, my favorite was this ring that has a big flower on it, and is a really pretty aqua color. I love it. I guess my very favorite things was the hula skirt and seashell top they brought to Avah. It is seriously the cutest thing in the whole world, I will get a picture and post it ASAP! They really had a good time, I think Jayme said she tool over 700 pictures, can't wait to see them. Keep checking Jayme's blog for updates on there trip...
Hey everyone, so I am totally going to post later, and tell you all how wonderful Avah's first birthday was... but in the mean time check to the right, there are three photo albums, “Hogel Zoo” “Avah's First Birthday” “Avah's Birthday Party“. I will post more later, and put up some new video! Hope all you mothers out there are having a great Mothers Day! Love you all!
Yes! I have a one year old! I am absolutely in shock that I have a ONE YEAR OLD! It is just amazing how fast this past year has gone, and how many wonderful things have happened to our family. These past few days I have been thinking of what was going on a year ago, anxiously awaiting to meet our little girl. I still can't find the words to describe the day she was born. I can remember it like it was yesterday, and I am so happy I can, because I made sure I would remember every detail. We laugh now about the enormous Sunday dinner we ate at my parents and then the consequences from that dinner later that night during labor! I remember the feelings I was having while sitting at the table watching Vinny talk to the nurse at the hospital asking if we should come now or wait...WE DIDN'T WAIT! I remember getting hooked up to the monitors, and the nurse telling us, “well you are only a at two centimeters, you can go home if you want, or stay.” Going home wasn't an option. I remember getting prepped for the epidural and completely losing Sunday dinner, and it not even phasing Vinny, he was just so great! I remember laying in the bed after the epidural watching my sister and Vinny sleep, and thinking “Should I being felling this pain on my left side of my back?” Finally waking up Vinny and him getting the nurse, the nurse checking me and sure enough I was at a SEVEN! The nurse being completely shocked! My dad and mom showing up and my dad kindly asking “can I stay?” Me saying, I wouldn't have it any other way. Twenty minutes later the nurse checking me again, and her looking up saying, "Ok, we are ready to start to practice pushing!” Me doing my practice pushes, and the nurse telling me, ok no more pushing we have to wait for the doctor!! I remember Dr. Fowers walking in half asleep, and we started pushing! I remember Jayme looking for Avah, and her saying “SHE HAS SO MUCH HAIR!” I made Vinny look at that point! I remember after four or five pushes with the doctor, at 4:16 a.m. we met our precious little girl. Avah Louize Spinning, shortly after known as Avah Lou! That day I couldn't imagine she could get any cuter, squishy face and all, and every single day since she some how gets cuter and cuter. I fell that I am the luckiest person to have such a wonderful, funny, smart, beautiful, AMAZING little girl. I can't wait for what the next year will bring, although it can slow down a little.

AVAH LOU LOU AT ONE!
I just asked Vinny to describe Avah. His response... P-E-R-F-E-C-T! I couldn't have said it better myself. She is just full of life and energy. Yes she is a little miss sassy pants, but hey what girl isn't? She loves to try and figure out things on her own, and she wont give up until she does, with or without your help. She is extremely intuitive, and listens to everything you say. Her newest things she says... “Tickle, Tickle, Tickle” as she wiggles her fingers on anything from books to dolls to her daddy's tummy! She is a mimicker! So watch what you say, because she will try it! She loves food! She will put anything in her mouth, and likes most things. She eats pretty much every now. She loves pudding (a new favorite Grandma Patti gave her for the first time today!) She loves anything with cheese on it. She also loves chinese, her favorite... Lo Mein! When she is done, SHE IS DONE! She will let you know. She is starting to become a great night time sleeper, she has slept in her own bed for the last five nights straight!! She goes down for her naps like a pro! She loves to be around with other kids, she involves herself, and is the hight light at day care. She loves to give kisses, and loves to cuddle. She loves Blues Clues, and The Wonder Pets!! SHE LOVES MUSIC, AND LOVES TO DANCE! She is a sweetheart, and has a great sense of humor. She is a chatter box (that and the sense of of humor come directly from her daddy!). She walks around blabbing away...She knows how to communicate with her hands really well! She is an angel, and we are so lucky to have her apart of our world.... HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY MY SWEET GIRL! You put a smile on my face every single second of the day. My favorite time of day is in the morning, because I get to see your precious face, and get hugs and kisses from my sweet little girl. I hope you have a had a great first year of life, and your daddy and I will do everything in our power to have the happiest life! We love you! Happy Birthday Avah Lou Magoo!!

Zoo pics, still to come!
coming soon- Avah at the Zoo!
Hello!! Yes I am blogging! I really need to do it more often. I guess I am still trying to juggle working and being a mom and a wife. I really can't complain though, because everything is just going so great. Avah loves day care, and I love my job! Vin is working really hard to move up in his company, and be where he wants to be. I guess you can say we are all just livin' life! Every second that we aren't at work, we want to spend with Avah, and then when she goes to bed, we like to enjoy each others company where we can talk or catch up on TV shows, or a good movie we haven't seen. So blogging really has become somewhat not a priority. But I do realize that all of our family back east look forward to seeing new pictures and video of Avah, so I really need to plan more time to get something up! Things are just going really well. Vin has been traveling a lot lately, we so much miss him when he is not around. I really don't know how single mom's do it! It's tuff! But Avah and I survived our week of just the two of us! It was fun, but I did miss my hubby! Yesterday was Jayme's birthday so my mom, Jayme and I went to Salt Lake for a day of shopping! It was so fun! I love hanging out with Jayme, I don't know why we don't do it more often. We really need too! Vinny and Avah got to spend the day together, and from the texts and phone calls I received thru out the day I know they had a lot of fun! By the time I got home, Avah was fast asleep, man did I miss her! But I had a great day with Jayme and my mom! The next big thing that I have to start getting ready for is Avah's first birthday!! I can NOT believe she is going to be one! It is just the craziest thing!! We are so excited to celebrate her 1st birthday with friends and family, but man would I give anything to have our other side of the family here with us!! I can't wait for July! We are going to New York, and we are counting down the days! We talk about it everyday, and if we could leave right now we would!! WE MISS YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA SPINNING!! (AND EVERYONE ELSE!!) Anyway, Vin just got Avah down, and we are going to watch a movie! I will post more soon! I have some video I will get up hopefully tomorrow. The pics are of Avah today, she just is the cutest thing ever!!... Enjoy! love to you all!!

Can you believe that in a month we will have a ONE year old! I really can't believe Avah is going to be one. It's just amazing how fast it's gone. We have enjoyed every single second of her life. She is just the most amazing little girl, not so much a baby anymore...
She is just so smart, and loves to explore and get into everything (I guess this is a normal thing for a little one...) And yes, she is completely walking, and loves every step she takes. She is really starting to figure out her toys, and how to put things where they go. We are just so in love with this little girl...
